Michii's Bday Donothon!
The posted goals are NOT expectations! I love all of my chatters, lurkers, and community members so much! I created these goals with a few things in mind~
I calculated the cost of living for 2 months, and where I would need to be for full time streaming to continue to be an option for me! With that in mind, I created the current top goal to reflect 2 months of living cost as well as the return costs of certain goals (such as the eye tracker & new hair toggle), and to have a safe pillow in order to put money back into streaming for new and fun things!
I have a few stretch goals floating around in my mind if we get to that point, but I do not want to share those until a time in which I feel they might become necessary as I do not want to create pressure around the goals system! THE DONOTHON IS FOR FUN~
Individual Goals
I have a fun individual goals system, as well, as a thank you to supporters personally, beyond just hitting the shared goals!
These include sticky notes, different levels of sticky notes, and more!
As far as sticky notes go, VTube Studio has a max limit of items that can be pinned to my model of 30!
Because of this, I have created a system where stickynotes will be daily to allow new people a chance to have a stickynote on me!
I considered having week long stickynotes, but I felt it would be hard to maintain individually, or if I did hard reset days it wouldn't be fair to those who put one on the day before expiration!
At a certain individual tier, though, as a thank you, I have added the ability to gain a permanent (for the donothon duration) sticky note!
The timer & the points system are NOT one to one, in some cases.
- For bits & donations, $1 or 100 bits does equate to 1 point, and 1 minute on the timer.
- For Tier 1 Subs, Prime Subs, & Resubs (T1), they are 3 minutes, and 2 points, as the value of subs fluctuates depending on region, currency, and discounts!
- For Tier 2 Subs the timer goes up 6 minutes, and they are worth 5 points!
- For Tier 3 Subs the timer goes up 15 minutes, and they are worth 13 points!
The reason for this comes from this:
The $ value of the sub which I recieve (50%) = the points value as some goals are goals that require money to be put back into them (such as the eye tracker, which is $400-500).
However, I wanted to inflate the timer value of Tier 3 and Tier 2 subs over their point value for two reasons!
1. They are 50% more for the viewer to buy, so I want it to be worth it for you!
2. Tier 2 and Tier 3 subs are EXTREMELY valuable for the Twitch Plus Program, which can allow me to later recieve a better reveune split with Twitch, (60/40, or even 70/30 over the current 50/50 split!).
Reaching the Plus Program points will help to make all subs and bits a better split for me, and will allow me more time put back into stream!
